BREAKING FOR HOLIDAYS!

 It has been a long year so time for a much needed break.  I have been working on my new novel and am twenty-five percent finished in first draft.  So much is going on with COVID-19 that we are back in restrictions.

I think it is time for us all to just take a breath.  I will resume writing in 2022 and hope to complete 'Hard To Cross' sometime in July and will keep you updated starting in the middle of January.

I hope everyone stays safe as they spend time with family members over the next two weeks.

Now for my progress.  I published 'Delia's Special Gift' on November 17th for all your 6-9 year olds to enjoy. If you have Kindle Unlimited they can read it there for the next 90 days.

So follow my angel to discover the full world of books I have written for both kids and adults.

   I'm now working on Hard To Cross (The Coleman O'Sullivan Story) and the progress is going slower than I thought.  I am currently writing about 1,000 words per day and during the month of December that will be increased to a minimum of 2,000 words per day.

This book will take some time as it involves the main character's willingness to make changes in his life from what it has been for the last several years.  Coleman has lived in isolation on a small island isolated from the rest of the world.  If you want to know more about why or the ways he tries to make changes, you will have to wait and read the book when it comes out in 2022.

Now that this book is done, I will concentrate on 'Hard To Cross' my novel which will has a tentative release date for 2022.  I will be back at the end of November to update you on it's progress.

These last few weeks have been very productive.  I will give you the update on my children's book first.  Most of the illustrations are completed and I have a possible date for release.  I am looking at November 16, 2021 (subject to change) giving everyone a lot of time to order and have it in your hands before the Holiday Season.

Now for an update on 'Hard To Cross'.  I have had to rewrite the beginning several times to make it flow better.  I believe now more progress will happen over the next month once I finish the children's book.  I have the first ten chapters completed so will work from there.  As for a timeline on publication, I think sometime in early spring of 2022.

As the weather now has become very wet, it will force me to sit and write, and write and write.

I will come back before the release of 'Delia's Special Gift' to give you a heads up on the exact date in case it changes from the one mentioned above.

PROGRESS NOW HAPPENING!

 I have had a productive week and on my novel have been doing a re-write of the first couple chapters.  My word count today is 12,000 words but will increase over the next three weeks by at least 3,000 per day.  Coleman below is in deep thought about his life and how he can change it to get back to the other side.

As for my children's book the first two sections are done.  Now there is work to be done on the final few pictures to go in it for the young children to be able to see parts of what is taking place.  Below is Delia with the Ranger giving him information about what has been happening with the animals in his forest.

 Hello readers.  I had to take a break because of a death of someone special.  I am back to writing and have made some progress on both my books.  Below is a sample page to enjoy.

 

My children's book is about two-thirds complete.  I hope to have it available for purchase just before the Christmas holiday.

My fiction novel 'Hard To Cross' is going through some edits to make the beginning more interesting.   The video below will give you a few clues.
