ON TRACK!!

The last two weeks have been good for writing.  Some days I didn't meet my 2,000 words but on others exceeded the number so it averaged out okay.  Now that winter has made itself noticed, I will be able to concentrate more on my writing.

Today I set up an ad on Amazon US.  It is in review and should be up in a couple of days.  If you are checking out my books there watch for it.  It is for Book 1 of my Windy Haven Trilogy.

I will be setting one up tomorrow on Facebook to promote all of my Windy Haven Trilogy books.  I will also be working on setting up the Pre-Order for Book 3 both on Amazon and all other vendors like Apple Books, Nook, etc.  Both of those will also go to review for 24 to 72 hours before becoming live.  I will come back and let you know when they are all up.

I have been working a bit on my new children's book and think the cover is finally completed.  What do you think?  It's about a Mason Bee and Honeybee who meet and learn about the differences between them.

 Well must get back to the keyboard and chapters for both the children's book and adult fiction one.  Once the ads and Pre-Order are visual, I will post here again to let you know where to find them.

RETURN TO WRITING!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season.  I enjoyed the rest, but am ready to get back to work.

I will let you know once the new Children's Book is ready and both front and back covers are completed.  I am looking towards an early summer finish date where it will be available for purchase.

This month I will be running some ads on both Amazon and Facebook for Sia: Screams in the Night (Windy Haven Trilogy - Book 1) and Willow: Family Betrayal (Windy Haven Trilogy - Book 2) of the trilogy.  There will also be a Pre-order set up for the e-book on both Amazon and outlets like Kobo, Apple Books, and several others for Jade: The Guardian (Windy Haven Trilogy - Book 3).

 My word count for Book 3 will increase from 1,000 a day to 2,000 a day so I can have more time for the editor to review.  I am currently over the 20,000 words threshold.  See you in a couple of weeks.  Happy Shopping!!

HAPPY HOLIDAY!

As the season is upon us may everyone have a great holiday with friends and family.  After this post, I will be silent until the new year to take a much needed rest to be ready to go at the beginning of 2020.  I will be spending time with family over the next two weeks.

I have been working diligently on my next novel and have reached the middle of the book achieving the word count that I had set for each day. Once I start back in January that will be increased.  I will be working on two books at the same time.  One for the children and one for the grownups.

Above is a picture of who will be sitting atop my tree this year.  She sends you wishes for safe travels to visit with friends and family.  I will be back on January 2, 2020 to let you know what my schedule will be from January to May on my writing and any other things that I may be up to at that time.

First, I want to thank everyone who voted on my book cover.  I did pretty good, but not enough to make the second round of the top 100.  I was deeply honored that my cover was chosen to participate.

I am starting Chapter 9 in Book 3 of my Trilogy so work is going well and on schedule. I am working on the back cover for the Children's Book and should be finished by the end of the year.

I have a Facebook ad running a promotion to get people in several countries familiar with my books during the holiday season.  If you have someone special on your list, have a look at what is available to purchase on this page or, just type in my name, Diane Chartrand, on Amazon and it will bring up all of my books available to purchase both in Kindle and Paperback.

NEW PROJECTS BLOOMING!

I hope everyone in the United States had a safe and happy Thanksgiving Day.  I'm sure traveling back home might be eventful with all the winter weather in some areas so be careful if your driving.

This has been a pretty busy month with the release for Book 2 of the Windy Haven Trilogy on the 15th.  I am now working on Book 3 and all is going well. I have committed to writing at least one thousands words a day and so far have kept to that goal.  Cover below.  This will be released sometime in May of 2020.  I will update once the final date is decided.

I am taking on a couple of new projects.  First, to finish my book about Mason Bees and Honey Bees by early July 2020. For those who follow, I have made a few changes to the title (still subject to more changes).

Second, to work on a new idea for a children's book about a girl and all her many hats. Cover subject to changes to reflect the contents.  I hope to have this one finished by late fall 2020 just in time for your holiday purchases.

 I will do an update of my work in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime check out all my books currently available to purchase for those on your list. This page has great ideas for both Children and Adults.

RELEASE DATE IS HERE!

Today both my e-book and paperback for Willow:  Family Betrayal  have been released for purchase everywhere.
This book is the second in my Windy Haven Trilogy with book three scheduled for release in May 2020.

  These are stories about three young women who have been victimized by an organization of sex traffickers for several years.  You will see, after a lot of difficult times, how they manage to get out and create new lives.

You will look into each of their lives, sometimes through dreams, how they coped with what had happened to them and how together, using their best efforts, try to take the organization down.
